Country Ways Oak Furniture Makers is a family-owned furniture maker and retailer, based in the Sussex countryside.

We specialise in traditionally handmade English oak furniture, crafting bespoke and made-to-order pieces in our own workshop using time-honoured woodworking techniques. Since 1987, we have built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and a highly personal service.

Alongside our handmade furniture, we also offer a carefully selected range of high-quality manufactured oak furniture collections, providing customers with greater choice of style, finish and budget — all chosen to meet our exacting standards of quality and design.

Our workshop and showroom are located at Little Swailes Green Farm, a historic Sussex farmstead dating back to the 16th century, set in the heart of the High Weald near the historic town of Battle in East Sussex.
