I thought that I would send you a short note to say that my table arrived three weeks ago. It took the shipper three hours to get it up the front steps to my front door. They had to dismantle the table and bring it up in pieces. I offered them alot of water because it was a hot day.

It is just beautiful and so is the bench seat. Its so large that it fills the room. The workmanship is superb and I am very satisfied.

I am currently shopping for dining chairs, I think I want something funky (yet elegant) that will be a nice contrast to the table.

We then decided to order a bespoke bookcase to fit under the staircase as nothing on sale in the furniture shops fitted the bill. I am writing this seated at the computer desk incorporated within the bookcase. It looks beautiful and is made to a very high standard.
