Bespoke Finishing
Your table will be hand-finished using a hard-wearing, food-safe wax oil in the colour of your choice, ensuring both beauty and practicality for everyday use. Our wax oil finishes are durable, easy to maintain, and enhance the natural grain of the oak.
Made to Order Craftsmanship
Each Sussex Framed Top Extending Refectory table is individually crafted to order in our workshop, allowing us to accommodate bespoke requirements. Whether you need custom dimensions, alternative timber grades, specific finish colours, or choice of turned leg styles (canon or vase), we can create the perfect piece for your home.
The framed top construction features a 50mm thick frame with mitred corners that creates an elegant border around the table top, adding visual interest and traditional detailing. The extension leaves store separately when not in use, allowing you to adapt the table from intimate family meals to larger gatherings.
Other timber grades, sizes and colours are available on request as well as a full bespoke service.
