Substantial Construction & Design

This heavy pedestal table features a beautiful flush top (with planked options also available) crafted from wide ex 54mm thick planks of solid oak. The extra-thick planks provide exceptional durability and a substantial feel that sets this table apart from standard designs. Each plank is carefully selected for its grain pattern and character, ensuring your table is truly unique. The smooth flush top creates a sleek profile while maintaining the warmth and natural beauty of solid oak.

Hand-Turned Central Column

At the heart of this impressive design is a magnificent central column hand-turned from a solid piece of 150mm thick square oak. This substantial pedestal is crafted on our lathe by skilled artisans, creating elegant curves and proportions that provide both visual impact and exceptional stability. The single-piece construction ensures maximum strength and durability, supporting even the heaviest family gatherings with ease.

Solid Oak Legs

Each leg is meticulously hand-cut and shaped from one solid piece of timber, demonstrating our commitment to quality and traditional craftsmanship. Premium Hand-Applied Finish

Your heavy pedestal table will be expertly hand-finished using a hard-wearing, food-safe wax oil in the colour of your choice. This premium finish enhances the natural grain while providing practical protection for everyday dining and entertaining.

Other timber grades, sizes and colours are available on request as well as a full bespoke service.
