Choose from three distinctive oak grades to match your interior:

  • High Character Oak - Bold statement pieces featuring large knots, cracks and undulations for rustic charm
  • Pippy Oak (Cat's Paw) - Unique grain patterns with distinctive pippy markings for a truly bespoke look

Bespoke Finishing

Your table will be hand-finished using a hard-wearing, food-safe wax oil in the colour of your choice, ensuring both beauty and practicality for everyday use. Our wax oil finishes are durable, easy to maintain, and enhance the natural grain of the oak.

Made to Order Craftsmanship

Each Sussex Splayed Leg table is individually crafted to order in our workshop, allowing us to accommodate bespoke requirements. Whether you need custom dimensions, alternative timber grades, or specific finish colours, we can create the perfect piece for your home.

The splayed leg A-frame design offers a contemporary take on traditional trestle construction, with angled legs that provide excellent stability while creating clean, modern lines. This design is particularly popular for larger dining tables where generous legroom and visual lightness are important.

Other timber grades, sizes and colours are available on request as well as a full bespoke service.
