Upholstery Options

Bespoke Finishing

Your chair frame will be hand-finished using a hard-wearing, food-safe wax oil in the colour of your choice, ensuring both beauty and practicality for everyday use. Our wax oil finishes are durable, easy to maintain, and enhance the natural grain of the oak.

Made to Order Craftsmanship

Each Swailes oak dining chair is individually crafted to order in our workshop, allowing us to accommodate bespoke requirements. Whether you need specific upholstery fabrics, alternative timber grades, or particular wax oil finishes, we can create the perfect chairs for your dining space.

The Swailes design features a shaped back that provides excellent lumbar support while the upholstered panel inserts add visual interest and contemporary comfort. The solid oak frame is constructed using traditional mortice and tenon joints reinforced with pegs, ensuring your chairs will serve your family for generations.
