Leg Style Options
We offer a choice of turned leg styles for our refectory tables - canon or vase turned as standard. Please specify your preference in the notes at checkout or contact our showroom for guidance.
Bespoke Finishing
Your table will be hand-finished using a hard-wearing, food-safe wax oil in the colour of your choice, ensuring both beauty and practicality for everyday use. Our wax oil finishes are durable, easy to maintain, and enhance the natural grain of the oak.
Made to Order Craftsmanship
Each Traditional Refectory extending oak dining table is individually crafted to order in our workshop, allowing us to accommodate bespoke requirements. Whether you need custom dimensions, alternative timber grades, or particular wax oil finishes, we can create the perfect table for your dining space.
The Traditional Refectory design features substantial turned legs with H-stretcher that provide exceptional stability while the shaped side rails ensure comfortable legroom. The two 45cm extension leaves store separately when not in use, allowing you to adapt the table from intimate family meals to larger gatherings. The pegged breadboard ends prevent warping while adding authentic traditional detailing.
Other timber grades, sizes and finishes are available on request as well as a full bespoke service.
