Substantial Planked Top with Breadboard Ends
The table features 4 long wide ex 52mm thick planks with pegged breadboard ends, creating an exceptionally robust and authentic surface. The generous plank thickness provides substantial durability and a premium feel, while the pegged breadboard ends are a traditional woodworking technique that prevents warping and adds visual interest. This construction ensures your table will remain flat and true for generations of family gatherings.
Impressive Turned Legs
True to traditional refectory styling, the table showcases ex.100mm (4") thick turned legs, providing exceptional stability and visual impact. We offer a choice of leg styles - cannon or vase turned as standard - allowing you to personalise the aesthetic to suit your interior. Please specify your preferred leg style in the notes at checkout. These substantial legs are shaped on our lathe by skilled craftsmen, creating elegant proportions that define the classic refectory design.
H-Stretcher Configuration
The table features an H-stretcher design that provides both structural reinforcement and authentic period detail.
